WILL RICHARDSON - STONE CARVER

Will Richardson is an intuitive stone carver with no formal training in art or sculpture.  Much of his work is figurative, leaving unrevealed elements for the viewer to imagine.  He deliberately avoids any suggestion of literary or allegorical associations in his work as this imposes a viewpoint on the observer.

SIAN ROSTON - ARTIST

I am and artist and illustrator living in Wiltshire. I recently moved away from the scenic Devon coast and have found Wiltshire with it’s wide valleys, rolling hills, picturesque landscapes and historic building to be a fantastic source of inspiration. I am particularly influenced by bold colours, abstract shapes and botanical themes. My main medium is watercolour but I also enjoy using acrylics for painting on canvas.

 ALISON ARCHER - ARTIST

I collect all sorts of bits and pieces that I usually - eventually - manage to use in my work. My horde ranges from feathers and photos of quirky birds, dried seed heads, old electronics, bits of material and buttons, to images of drain pipes, chimney pots, and sun on a church floor. I also like the texture of things like crisply folded paper and the way dupion silk drapes. And then I work from there.
