NEW TO SELLING OUTDOORS?

If you are new to exhibiting and/or selling art work outside the following points are set out to help you prepare, carry out and enjoy this exhibition experience with confidence.

INFORMATION   |   REGISTRATION 

THE MARKET SQUARE


The Market Square will be ready to set-up from 7.30am

Exhibitors are welcome to drive on the the square to unload and again to load your car from 4pm

All cars must be removed from the square by 9.45am.

Gazebos are provided. They are 3m x 3m and approximately 7' in height. The frame work can be used to display artwork.

Please avoid using sticky tape on any part of the frame. Gazebos must be cleared of all fixings before leaving.

Exhibitors must provide their own table/s and display stands. 6' folding tables are recommended. A few tables are available to hire at £10 each event.

Fitted black cloths are provided and will fit a 6' folding tables. The cloths help to create a smart, uniform base for all displays.

VISITOR INFORMATION SIGNS & FORMS


Guidelines to visitors with regards lockdown restrictions will be provided if and when required.

Please position at a prominent place for visitors to see. 

Collect names and contact details of visitors happy to be added to your Mail List for your own future promotional use.

PUT SAFETY FIRST


Secure and keep safe all art and craft work, cash tins and valuables to protect from theft and to help protect from gusts of wind!

Keep visitors and the public at the recommended distance during Covid-19 restrictions and provide plastic gloves and hand sanitiser for handling.

Please contact us for advice and/or help if required.

HELP & COVER


If possible, ask a family member or friend to be on hand throughout the event to help with visitors, to cover breaks and time away from your display area and

to ensure the safety of your art work at all times.

If you are unable to get help during the day, please let us know… we are on hand to help.

SALES


When possible, take payments via a card reader or BACs transfer. 

Payments should be received in full before artwork is taken. Where possible provide/offer a sales receipt as proof of payment.

Have suitable packaging available especially for bigger and more fragile artwork.

Keep a note of your sales and purchaser's details for your records and future marketing.

Have RED dots at the ready for customers collecting at a later date!
