ALISON ARCHER - ARTISTI collect all sorts of bits and pieces that I usually - eventually - manage to use in my work. My horde ranges from feathers and photos of quirky birds, dried seed heads, old electronics, bits of material and buttons, to images of drain pipes, chimney pots, and sun on a church floor. I also like the texture of things like crisply folded paper and the way dupion silk drapes. And then I work from there. FIONA FORBES - ARTISTVibrant, colourful and uplifting paintings are my speciality. I paint in all media. I studied Decorative Design at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art. My subjects are varied, mostly derived from nature and the outdoors 'Plein air' painting in watercolours give me plenty of subjects to develop in my studio into oils and acrylics using a palette knife to produce loose, impressionist work. Living in different counties and mixing with other cultures and nationalities has moulded my style and outlook on life as well as my creativity. I have lived in Wiltshire since 2009.
