ART CLASSES

TUITION

I began offering art classes following requests from regular visitors to my stand at Hale Market. Initially these were held in my Kitchen, then COVID hit! Using Zoom worked really well and more people joined that class resulting in  my offering two classes a week.

During the summer we have been able to paint outside on my patio keeping safe and well distanced.

I love to encourage my class members to improve their painting and drawing skills and to try out new ways of making marks - Yupo paper, acrylic, ink etc.

I like to think I offer inspiration as well as a peaceful space to paint and draw to anyone interested in art regardless of their ability.

Please email or phone me for further information or to book a place in one of my classes.

"Small, friendly, inclusive classes where you feel inspired to have a go.  I have enjoyed clever challenges, new ideas, encouraged to explored my style, while building confidence with surprising results.  Thank you Lucinda for offering a new and creative way to spend a morning doing something delightful and relaxing." Ann

"Lucinda is a pleasure to learn from and work with. She is always positive in her corrections and suggestions.  She finds a subject to paint that may appear challenging but proves otherwise by providing a breakdown of the scene and tips for approaching it, thus improving  the student's confidence. She is also happy if we choose our own subject, thus increasing our feelings of independence and ownership. She is also happy to show us the basics of colour, types of paint etc."   Ruth

"My daughter and I took Lucinda's watercolour workshop in the Ox Row Inn and were so pleased by the results. We didn't expect to produce any like the end result but through Lucinda's thorough teaching, guidance and encouragement we were extremely happy with our paintings. A really lovely evening, thank you Lucinda!"
