BIO

Born and raised in Salisbury, I specialise in acrylic paintings of landscapes and wildlife but I also use mixed media and chalk pastel, mainly focusing on our amazing local places in Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.

I am passionate about the natural environment, which I hope shines through in my work. I am a self-taught artist, and a practising ecologist, combining the two passions to hopefully inspire others to conserve and enhance our wonderful natural world.

I love to travel - either exploring the beauty of the UK - or further afield to more foreign climes, and these trips provide further inspiration for my art.

I am proud to be a member of the committee for Plain Arts, the leading visual arts group in Salisbury, and a regular exhibitor with Salisbury Arts Scene

ARTWORK

I work mainly in acrylic, but also use soft pastels and mixed media. My style focuses on colour and form, either using a realistic style, or a more graphic style focusing on the shapes of natural forms.

I welcome commissions, or my work is available to view on request or via my website. This includes originals, prints and cards.

'Bunnies'
"A present for my husband - he absolutely loves it! Charlotte researched extensively and was keen to capture both the look and personality of our pets which she has perfectly. I recommend Charlotte without any hesitation."

'View from Hanham Hill'
"Charlotte's painting is wonderful - instantly recognisable and makes me want to take to the hills immediately. It has pride of place in my sitting room and I keep going to look at it again."
