PROFILE

Simon works in Oils, Acrylics and watercolours as well as embracing the latest technology creating works using an ipad. His body of works are therefore created in a variety of styles using all these methods, from loose abstract to photo-realism and always with a rich and a vibrant colour pallet and the addition of sensitive mark making.

Simon has a passion for 'Wild Life' both domestic & 'Exotic' especially Chickens!
 All his paintings use a rich impasto colour application using a pallet knife, finished with bold strokes and 'sweeping gestures' throughout all mediums used. In addition, Simon also creates detailed limited edition Lino Prints in an illustrative style.

MY ART

My collection of works reflects my passion for wildlife, domestic & exotic, as well as the influences of my surrounding landscape.​

My work can regularly be seen at most Salisbury Arts Scene events through the calendar year as well as in various Local Galleries and exhibition events throughout Wiltshire & Hampshire in addition to all annual events held by Plain Arts. Selected works are also available to view and purchase online via my website. I also exhibit and show during the Summer period, around the Cambridge / Norfolk borders - sometimes beyond!

I am a member of Plain Arts Salisbury and sit on the committee as the designer for all marketing materials (through allthings creative) as well as the design and maintenance of the Plain Arts website.

Private views are welcome at my home by appointment - which is also my gallery. Artwork can also be brought to your home on occasions by prior arrangement, and prior to any purchase to see how any piece might fit within your proposed environmental space.
