MEGAN CHEETHAM - ARTISTMegan’s pictures range from still life to portraiture and on to landscapes. Her work is infused with an energy which helps to keep it fresh. WILL RICHARDSON - STONE CARVERWill Richardson is an intuitive stone carver with no formal training in art or sculpture. Much of his work is figurative, leaving unrevealed elements for the viewer to imagine. He deliberately avoids any suggestion of literary or allegorical associations in his work as this imposes a viewpoint on the observer. SIAN ROSTON - ARTISTI am and artist and illustrator living in Wiltshire. I recently moved away from the scenic Devon coast and have found Wiltshire with it’s wide valleys, rolling hills, picturesque landscapes and historic building to be a fantastic source of inspiration. I am particularly influenced by bold colours, abstract shapes and botanical themes. My main medium is watercolour but I also enjoy using acrylics for painting on canvas. SALISBURY GROUP OF ARTISTThe Salisbury Group of Artist's gazebo will feature members exhibiting a variety of artworks in different mediums. The artwork show here is by Louisa Saffioti. MOIRA ROSS - STONE CARVERWhile I love textiles and paper, my favourite thing is stone carving and my favourite stone is Maltese Limestone. I carve it by hand, often with rasps rather than chisels, and sand it till it is smooth, 'soft' and shiny. So tactile! Animals, seeds and fruit are some of my subjects, alongwith abstract pieces. RICH TURLEY - ARTISTThe Kingfisher is a great example of Rich’s work, inspired by the symbiosis of technical ink drawing and flowing watercolour paint on plywood. “I enjoy many themes, however birds, due to my fascination of flight, are a particular favourite.” IMAGE: KINGFISHER MEDIUM: Watercolour and ink |
ANN MILLER - ARTISTI studied environmental design and then worked as a commercial interior designer. As an artist maker, I like to use mixed media including acrylics, collage and printing to create my hand crafted cards, decorative boxes and small artworks.
